Cup Match Summer Splash 2015 promises to continue the momentum created by the previous two years outstanding events. In 2013 Bermuda was treated to an amazing show headlined by Reggae Legend Beres Hammond at the One Love One Life concert which saw over 4,000 patrons in attendance in the Par la Ville Car Park. 2014 One Love One Life Concert was headlined by Tarrus Riley and Luciano with equally impressive performances. The Cup Match Eve concert saw the much anticipated King of Soca Machel Montano deliver a high energy performance leaving everyone wanting more and Bermudians saying; “who could these byes possibly be brining next year.”
Cup Match Summer Splash 2015 returns with two date’s, outstanding talent and package tickets releasing on May 1st. Package tickets include admission to both shows at extremely good value.
The One Love One Life concert - Saturday July 25th
Featuring the Royal Family of Reggae Morgan Heritage and Dancehall legend Barrington Levy with the Detour Posse.
Both artists are no strangers to Bermuda and it has been many years since either of them has graced the island with their unique brands of Reggae. Both artists bring their full bands and patrons can look forward to 4 hours of live Reggae Music with the island top DJ’s keeping the vibes flowing all night.
Cup Match Eve - Wednesday July 29th
For the first time in Bermuda Global Sensation Major Lazer, DJ Skratch Bastid and Tarantula from Poison Dart
Major Lazer is made up of grammy nominated DJ/producer Diplo and fellow DJ/producers Jillionaire from Trinidad and Walshy Fire from Jamacia, Major Lazer will release their third album June 1st. Led by the hooky single “Lean On” (featuring DJ Snake of “Turn Down for What” fame and Danish electropop star MØ), Peace Is the Mission, continues in the group’s tradition of colliding the best elements of EDM, dancehall, hip-hop, and pop into an earth-shaking, soul-liberating singularity. The first of three original albums planned for release over 2015, it also includes a remix of their Ariana Grande- with Machel Montano featuring track “All My Love” from the soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, as well as contributions from Ellie Goulding, Tarrus Riley, 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Mad Cobra and Chronixx. The much anticipated 2015 releases will compliment previously recorded hits with artist such as Bunji Garlin, “Ready for the Road” and Busy Signal “Watch out fi this”
